• Maintenance and Care:

  • Before First Use: Wash in hot soapy water with a nylon cloth/brush; avoid harsh scourers.
  • Routine Cleaning: Allow the Dutch oven to cool before cleaning. Use hot soapy water and a nylon cloth/brush to remove food and fat residue. Avoid excessive heat to prevent streak marks; for stubborn marks, use a bi-carb soda paste and a soft cloth.
  • Handwashing Recommended: Although dishwasher safe, handwashing is recommended to extend the life of the product. For the best results, use SCANPAN Steel and Copper Cleaner for an "as new" finish.
